This wonderful musical is based on the novel by Mary Hayley Bell and subsequent Richard Attenborough film.

Whistle Down the Wind follows the fortunes of a fugitive caught between the prejudice of adults and the innocence of the young. Swallow, a fifteen year old girl growing up in America’s deep south in the fifties, discovers a mysterious man hiding out in a barn. When she asks him who he is, and the first word he utters are “Jesus Christ”, it’s as if all her prayers have been answered. But as fantasy and reality collide, Swallow begins to discover who she really is and where she is going.

Featuring some of Andrew Lloyd Webbers’s most beautiful and successful songs including “Whistle Down the Wind”, “No Matter What” and “The Vaults of Heaven”.

This is a musical that will give you an evening full of entertainment and not to be missed.

Jeremy and Celia return a week early from their unsuccessful honeymoon to find that both Jeremy’s partners have accepted his offer to stay in his house while he is away. The only problem is that they have each brought the other’s wife with them. Jeremy discovers one illicit couple, Celia the other.

Both issue invitations to them for dinner. Complications pile up thick and fast as, realizing their dilemma and desperate to make a good impression on Jeremy’s colleagues, the couple stages two dinner parties simultaneously, one on the patio and one in the dining room.

As if there aren’t problems enough, Sid the plumber, up to his eyeballs in water in the cellar, has to call in the Water Board Emergency Service just when all seems resolved and Jeremy and Celia are attempting to salvage their lost honeymoon.

Peter and Ruth have had a long and happy marriage. Or so Peter believes. He loves listening to the cricket on the radio, she likes to travel. As Peter dozes in his deckchair listening to the final test from The Oval his wife announces that she has sold the house and is moving to the coast with her lover. When the new owners move in later that day they discover they have more than they bargained for: an elderly, cricket-loving squatter who refuses to move out of their garden.
