The Circus Of Horrors

The Circus Of Horrors – The 21st Anniversary Tour
Welcome To The Carnevil

Date: Tuesday 16 February 2016
Location: Civic Theatre
Time: 7.30pm
Produced by: The Circus Of Horrors
Price: Full price £22/£19 – Concessions £18/£15

The show that stormed into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent and now a West End smash is back to mark its 21st Anniversary in spectacular style.

Its appearances on various subsequent TV shows have turned what set out as a cult show into a household name – taking the extreme to the mainstream, Its TV credits include The X Factor, Daybreak, Body Shockers, Fake Reaction, This Morning, Ant & Dec, The One Show and A Royal Command Performance.

The latest incarnation Welcome To The Carnevil is set in Victorian London in 1899. Jack the Ripper was still at large and this was the age of the freak show. A young girl dreamt of running away to join the Circus, only to see her dream become a nightmare in a decrepit and corpse ridden Carnevil. It is plagued by a swamp of killer clowns, sword swallowers, demon dwarfs, death deifying aerialists, a Guinness World Record holding ‘hairculian’ diva swinging solely from her hair, fire limbo acrobats and much more. This is a show ruled by the undead and climaxing in an awesome flaming apocalypse.

The story twists and turns with grisly murders and sensational shocks – all interwoven with some of the greatest and most bizarre circus acts on earth. All performed by an almighty cast, with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek and the devil driven rock ‘n’ roll of Dr Haze and The Interceptors from Hell.

If Quentin Tarantino had directed Cirque Du Soleil then you would be only half way there.

‘The Circus of Horrors completely WOWED the audience’

– The Daily Mail

‘A bloody great night out’

– The Times

‘Freaking awesome’

– The Sun
