In response to government advice, we regretfully confirm that Rotherham Civic Theatre will close with immediate effect and performances will be cancelled until further notice. As the safety of our audience and workforce is of the utmost importance to us, we will await to hear further instruction from government.

Theatre’s ability to lift and entertain people even in times of difficulty is unparalleled and so we are extremely grateful to all our audiences, who have continued to support us for as long as you can. We will be working closely with colleagues from theatre companies to reschedule postponed performances and look forward to welcoming you back into our theatre as soon as possible.

Our box office will be contacting customers in order of scheduled performance to arrange for refunds or credits, so please bear with us as we work through this. If you would like to continue supporting the theatre during this period, you can opt to donate your payment rather than asking for a refund.
