Coronavirus (Covid-19)

In response to Government advice, Rotherham Civic Theatre closed its door to the public on March 17 2020 and performances were cancelled until further notice. As the safety of our audience and workforce is of the utmost importance to us, we continue to follow Government guidelines and await further instruction.


Theatre’s ability to lift and entertain people even in times of difficulty is unparalleled and so we are extremely grateful to all our audiences, who have continued to support us for as long as you can. We will be working closely with colleagues from theatre companies to reschedule postponed performances and look forward to welcoming you back into our theatre as soon as possible.


Our box office will continue to contact customers in order of scheduled performances to arrange for refunds or credits, so please bear with us as we work through this. If you would like to continue supporting the theatre during this period, you can opt to donate your payment rather than asking for a refund. Please do keep an eye on our FaceBook page for news and updates and continue to follow government advice. Please be patient with us as we try to respond to all enquiries.
